About this challenge
The Cycling Distance Challenge is our longest-running event and the one most riders start with. You pick a monthly distance target, ride whenever it suits you, and log your rides as you go. Rides under 5 km do not count, and a maximum of two rides per day are counted toward your total, so consistency beats a single heroic day.

Frequently asked questions
How many rides are accepted in a day?
A maximum of two rides per day count toward your target. If you record more, the first two of that day are the ones counted.
Do I have to ride every day?
No. Complete your chosen distance at your own pace at any point during the month.
How do I submit my activity?
Connect Strava and your rides import automatically, or upload a screenshot from your dashboard. Both work equally well.
When will I receive my medal?
Medals are dispatched after the event closes and all submissions have been reviewed, and usually reach you within 15–20 days. You will get tracking details by email and SMS.
What if I do not complete 95% of my target?
You keep your dashboard record and anything that ships on registration, such as the T-shirt, but the finisher medal and certificate require 95% of your chosen distance.
